CRABS ANYONE?
Jamaican crabs are a bit sweeter, but a lot more work to get to its meat. Going crabbing in Jamaica requires a good flashlight, a good large bag, someone who knows the different between the male and female, because these are land crabs that hide under the rocks at night. You don't eat the pregnant females.
THE BLUE HOLE
Jamaica has many natural springs. This is my son & daughter at the "blue hole" that is connected to other natural springs, which means - no bottom!
THE MAROONS
A bit of history: When slaves rebelled against the British, they generally lost because the British had guns. The Maroons evened the playing ground by escaping into the thick foliage. When the British followed in their red coats, they were easily ambushed by the Maroons that had draped themselves with the foliage. The British were unable to see them and hence defeated. The Maroons celebrate every year with a huge festival.
JAMAICAN RASTA
I believe my Rasta friend should be in the Guiness Book of Records - YES, that is his hair that he's been growing over 40 years
MASTER BUILDER
I must give thanks to my dear friend and business partner Leroy Davis - aka "Bunny". Without him all of this would just be a dream. He built my home, protected and took very good care of me. Don't let the name "Bunny" fool you. He's just as dangerous as he is sweet.
