Mmm Mmm Good!

I was told the name of this dish (I forgot) which is similiar to a johnny cake stuffed with a bean spread, various onions, and a very hot pepper sauce - VERY TASTY! When I told them I live in Jamaica, huge smiles were returned AND they refused my money! Brazilians truly loves Jamaica.

  1. Oi Jacke!!! Esta é uma comida típica daqui de Salvador, se chama "acarajé". A massa do acarajé é preparada com feijão fradinho, cebola, alho e sal, e depois é frito no azeite de dendê. È recheado com vatapá, salada, caruru e camarão a gosto.
That is a tipic food from here, Salvador. The name of this dish is 'acarajé'. It was prepared with black-eye pea, onions, garlic, salt, shrimp, sesame oil. Stuffed inside vatapá, caruru and salad.
Caruru and vatapá are bahiana's food.
Kisses and I hope you're enjoying Salvador.
